Israel in Deal with Pfizer to Speed Vaccine Deliveries for Data
- algo_trader 6y agoAFAIK Israel over paid by 200% for the first million vaccines. So it might have gotten "more than its fair share" (Israel is ~8M, so ~1% of the developed world population). BUT then, due to the population density and centralized nature, it was able to roll out this million very efficiently, within a week, with relative efficiency. With about 80% going to over-60, vulnerable or essential-personel. Setting it up for this special deal, as a "test case nation". It also seems this deal was reached without any regulatory or parliamentary overview.
