This is exciting news. At first when I heard Apple car rumors, I thought maybe Foxconn would start trying to manufacture cars for them, and that was a dubious proposition to me. Hyundai/Kia have steadily turned into top tier car companies over the last few years, and Hyundai’s Genesis luxury brand has been receiving glowing reviews lately. A partnership with these ascending and well-established companies to manufacture their cars would give me much more confidence in Apple’s car ambitions.
