Isn't it obvious when the surge would happen? Cases spike about 10 days after the precipitating events. Deaths spike about 3 weeks after the event, so, we'll be seeing a huge increase in deaths in about 2 weeks.

I don't think we ever see a perfect 10 day spike, but the holidays seem like a catalyst for spread and allow the virus to produce more and larger generations.
