One 18-Hour Flight, Four Coronavirus Infections
- neom 6y agoVery interesting that two people seated directly next to someone who tested positive, never tested positive. "These seven passengers came from five countries, and they were seated within four rows of one another for the 18-hour duration of the flight. Two acknowledged that they did not wear masks, and the airline did not require mask-wearing in the lobby before boarding. Nor did it require preflight testing, although five of the seven passengers who later tested positive had taken a test, and received a negative result, in the days before boarding." Unfortunately they don't show/say what two opted not to wear masks, but If I had to guess, it's probably the two at the front that got infected?
- SlipperySlope 6y agoAlways you hear "wear a mask". But the best way to avoid COVID is to stay home until you get vaccinated. And by the way take vitamin D, especially if you have dark skin in a cold climate. Passenger A reported wearing a mask and gloves.
