Glad I'm not the only one that feels that way about twitter. When I first used it and saw all the hate speech and negative comments I was like "who on earth would even use this platform?" It really reminded me of 4chan.
- esja 6y ago4chan is almost certainly less toxic than Twitter at the societal level. And due to its design (anonymity etc) it may also be less toxic to the average individual participant, in terms of emotional/psychological harm.
