It appears to me the one branch of government that has stood up reasonably well recently is the court system.
One of the most serious things the court system does is deprive people of their liberty and life. And it is not stellar. I like the idea of people being held accountable for mis-information though.
- tempestn 6y agoI definitely wouldn't argue that the court system is perfect, just that it appears to be better at separating fact from fiction than other branches of government (though, again, not perfect).
