The US has not sanctioned Germany. E.g. a US company subject to the EU Global Human Rights sanctions regime does not mean the EU is sanctioning the US.
- DiogenesKynikos 6y agoThis is a major project that the German government is heavily involved in. Major German companies are under threat of sanctions. The US is using sanctions in order to try to force the German government to change its strategic and economic policy. This is a bit more than the US sanctioning some random German company.
