- Proven 6y agoSocialist junk. > One imagines that the “internet” would have been very different if France, India, or Mexico had created it. Thanks but no thanks. I've seen enough by simply following the attempts in the UN and elsewhere to fuck up the Internet worldwide (they already did it internally). Nobody prevents them to have their own Internet. China sort of does and it's absolute crap.
- torstenvl 6y agoStrong claims, no evidence, poorly researched ("what if France had created the internet?" without even a mention of Minitel... c'mon man) and a strong ideological slant. Not sure this belongs here.
- darepublic 6y agoIt was an interesting article but at the very end I feel like the description more so describes television than the internet. And I think it's being too hard on the web, the internet had allowed for the blossoming of alternative cultures
