Kyle Bass tweets Jack Ma will never be seen again
- polka_haunts_us 6y agoI have no idea whether Jack Ma will be seen again or not, but I was just considering there may be a market for a browser extension that detects highly opinionated loudmouths and lists all the times they made crystal ball predictions that ended up being wrong (or right).
- ketanmaheshwari 6y agoMy biggest surprise is how no one told Mr. Ma it is not a good idea to publicly say what he said neither did he recognize the consequences growing up in that environment and seeing so many precedents.
- vipa123 6y agoIt's natural selection. You can only get a little power and wealth by pushing against higher power and wealth to get a little more. Over time you get a lot of power and wealth, so naturally you'll eventually push against the ultimate power. Unfortunately, in the case of the people's republic, if you push against the ultimate power you pay the ultimate price.
- tibbydudeza 6y agoJack Ma does not seem to be a savvy person. After his "retirement" from Alibaba (allegedly the CCP was involved) he should have just laid low and become a sort of philanthropic guru like Bill Gates. But then he got involved in the Ant IPO and poked the dragon.
- gnusty_gnurc 6y ago> Jack Ma does not seem to be a savvy person. Demonstrate to the world that China is evil. Once you make a bunch of money, what else is left?
