The PC ecosystem is laughably insecure.
- anderspitman 6y agoPretty sure GP was including Linux in "PC", and I'd trust the software repository maintainers of a typical distro way more than I trust Appoogle.
- user-the-name 6y agoI was too. Linux is one of the least secure popular systems today.
- gnulinux 6y agoIt is also amazingly useful and easy to program.

- pjmlp 6y agoJust like the non-PC vertical integrated platforms were at the time.
- gnulinux 6y agoI bet it all boils down to what you're familiar with; but on PC if you have a linux distro you can essentially customize your computer exactly the way you want maybe minus some firmware stuff on your hw. I have an android phone and I'm almost always clueless as to how to operate it, sometimes even finding files is hard. It remind me of using Windows, except in my phone.
