I had to use Windows 2000 recently. The user experience was wonderful! Even on a machine that's two decades old, the UI was fast and responsive. It was also very intuitive. Functionality could be found exactly where it was expected to be. And the UI elements were well-demarcated and sensible. I felt so disappointed when I returned to Windows 10. So much of the Windows 10 experience is worse for me than that Windows 2000 experience was, especially the UI.
