Her main argument in article stems from an assumption that denarius (day's wages) mentioned in one verse connects it to another book's unrelated verse that also mentions denarius. This seems absurd absent any other context. I have heard that Revelation has some 400 quotes or direct allusions to Old Testament references. You would be better off starting there.
