You are using your ISP to contact those websites. Even with encryption you would still need to tell your isp which ip you want to connect to.
Tor is your friend if you care about hiding this kind of info.
- yandie 6y agoThat's what a VPN is for. Your ISP can't see the destination up addresses and only see your connection to the VPN endpoint
- hmottestad 6y agoSo you trust your VPN more than your ISP? They can just log the exact same data! And probably do with it as they please...
