Seems like government and leaders are committed to a vaccine exit from the pandemic.
Repurposed drugs have gotten too little attention and energy, and I suspect there's a connection with intellectual property and profit.
If we could fast-track a vaccine - why not stuff like this?
- f6v 6y agoAFAIK repurposing drugs takes longer on average. There’s new flu vaccine every year, right?
- IG_Semmelweiss 6y agoIt seems that in most of south america, about half of the upper class in on a voluntary dose of Ivermectin. Im starting to hear anecdata from a large part of hispanic american patients asking MDs on ways to getting doses in USA (and of course there's nothing of the sort in here). There's a coin flip chance that for a patient coming in ( that is hispanic), said person is on the drug.
