It's a massive loss.
Also, if we're at the point where "democracy values" are stumped by short term profits then maybe we deserve all of this.
- Siira 6y agoThe Western political institutions have short-term incentives for their constituents.
- esarbe 6y agoThat's an unfortunate drawback of a constituency trained to prioritize short-term goals. I wonder if it's possible to change this and have a 'wise' constituency that is able to do a more long-term prioritization.
