I can see why a company would want to offer different salaries for the same job when worked in a different office. Because in certain locations, the market is going to be tougher to get people in. Hence in order to get staff there the company will need to pay more. If previously agreed upon, it can be reasonable for a company to remove this location-dependent raise in salary if someone voluntarily changes their location.
