- pivic 6y agoI must say, I tried rewatching the first season but stopped when police who visited a suspected rape just told the purported victim to shut up and do what a woman has to do, basically. Sketchy and beyond. A farce compared with 'The Wire'. Try 'The Corner' instead.
- DrScump 6y agoThat's a ridiculous characterization. How about you name the episode or indicate exactly what elements of the dialogue support your claim. IMDB shows no series using the name "The Corner" other than a 2019 talk show.
- kenjackson 6y agoThe Corner was another show by Simon. Really a miniseries. See: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Corner https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Corner
- DrScump 6y ago1980s broadcast constraints didn't apply to 2000s Pay-TV programming.
