Imagine trying to understand the culture of NASCAR a thousand years from now by looking at some rusted out car frames in a case. The best part of floating museums like the USS Bowfin is actually standing there inside the cramped corridor, everything around you (at least appearing) ready for service... you can almost imagine you are there.
