This is complicated, I see some concerns related to my vehicle being searched without my permission. Although some parts of the article are simply spreading fud, no way I see driver facing camera storing all the photos, knowing memory is expensive. Infotainment systems are very optimized to reduce cost. The logs of door opening and seatbelt activation comes from CAN bus which is not impossible to spoof but still difficult.
