I wouldn't call this validation. I think it's being discussed positively because it articulates what many of us feel to be true: peer-review is a broken mess. Same thing about bullshit jobs.
- Areading314 6y agoIf you have a better system, you should suggest it. Peer review (and any process) may be imperfect. But I trust something written in a peer reviewed journal more than I trust pretty much anything else I read these days.
