Time Travellers: Please Don’t Kill Hitler (2014)
- inglor_cz 6y agoIt is entirely possible that some random person killed during WWII would have been even worse than him if given the chance to live. What-if scenarios are incredibly wide and deep once you dive in...
- heelix 6y agoReminds me of my favorite time travel short story - Robert A. Heinlein's "All You Zombies" https://www.heinleinsociety.org/rah/works/shortstories/allyouzombies.html https://www.heinleinsociety.org/rah/works/shortstories/allyo... https://archive.org/details/1959--AllYouZombies--Eley96k00.28.1919.4mb https://archive.org/details/1959--AllYouZombies--Eley96k00.2...
- blackrock 6y agoThe problem with history is that it is always written by the side of the victors. Hence, you get a very biased viewpoint of historical events. I have no judgement of the Germans here, but I would wager, that the British have not been good citizens of humanity. The British have caused more suffering, deaths, and misery, either direct, or indirect, because of their actions around the world for the past 500 years. I believe it was the Germans, that finally brought balance to The Force, and knocked the British off their high horse. And for that, I believe the rest of the world owes the Germans a huge debt of gratitude. But bury that Aryan supremacy bullshit, because that was rather annoying.
