Why would one compare the market cap of a commodity like BTC to that of a for-profit corporation?
Does one normally compare the value of all platinum in the world to the value of Microsoft?
- andirk 6y agoIt's useful only in that we can understand what certain huge # market caps mean. Seasoned economists, traders, etc don't need those comparisons but it's helpful for the rest of us.
