- OmarShehata 6y agoTL;DR - if you look up at the sun in an earth engine like CesiumJS and increment time by 1 day each frame you'll see a figure 8 shape being traced. The shape is the same on any point on Earth, but will be rotated/obscured under the horizon depending on where you are.
