There are a couple of much shorter videos that present a good introduction to this theory of Wolfram's:
TED talk (20.5 minutes total): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60P7717-XOQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60P7717-XOQ
Or, start at 14:05 or so for his fundamental theory of physics: https://youtu.be/60P7717-XOQ?t=850 https://youtu.be/60P7717-XOQ?t=850
Here is a 43.25 minute interview with Wolfram centering on this theory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPaBRjSrq2A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPaBRjSrq2A
I've always thought Wolfram was a bit of a blowhard, but, this theory (our universe as computation) is actually interesting.
