Show HN: Everyday.app – Simple and beautiful habit tracker for iOS,Web,Android
- mezod 6y agoIt's been almost 4 years since I started working on https://everyday.app https://everyday.app as an indie hacker. In 2020 I've created the macOS app, added more web extensions, translated it to 15 languages, created beautiful iOS14 widgets and I've just recently released the first version of the Apple Watch app! It's about to reach $10k MRR and today it got hunted on ProductHunt! https://www.producthunt.com/posts/everyday-2-0-3 https://www.producthunt.com/posts/everyday-2-0-3 I'd love to hear your feedback and how would you grow it as a business :)
- geoah 6y agoThis looks like a pretty nice and simple tracker. I love the fact there is a macos app and wanted to give it a shot just for that. Coming from the very unhelpfully named “habit” (that btw costs 3.49 GBP per year instead of everyday’s 29.99 GBP), the features I’m missing are mainly weekly and monthly habits, more colours, health integration. One of the things I haven’t seen much in habit trackers is api access. I was considering building something like simon’s everyday calendar but wanted to be able to hook it up to a habit tracker as it’s too limited on its own. Keep up the great work! ps. A mailing list or rss to keep up with updates would be nice. I don’t think I’ll be using it now but maybe when it gets parity with my current tracker.
- mezod 6y agoThanks for thiis awesome feedback! Definitely more colours are coming and health integration too. The difference between Everyday and most of the habit trackers ouut there is that it has a Public API. The problem is that I haven't had the time to document it yet but many devs are already using it by reverse engineering the requests of the Web app. I really hope I can work on this in the future! You can follow the app on twitter: https://twitter.com/everydaycheckapp https://twitter.com/everydaycheckapp for updates. I normally send a couple updates a year via email but you need to have an account to receive them!
