I don't find this argument very compelling. The vaccine must be judged by healthcare professionals with the same standard used by the public. And that is largely on the opinion of public health officials and researchers. To use the vaccine as a political vendetta suggests healthcare workers are complete idiots -- and I don't think that is the case.
