Moving to Austin: Your Guide to Living, Working and Playing in ATX
- armenarmen 6y agoAustin is the third largest city? Not Chicago, not Houston not DFW, but Austin?
- nickysielicki 6y agoNot a chance. Austin isn't even the third largest metro area in Texas.
- gamechangr 6y agoIt's fourth: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cities_in_Texas_by_population https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cities_in_Texas_by_pop... I'm guess the author meant "3rd largest in Texas" and I'm guessing that whatever statistic she was referencing included Round Rock. (which using Wiki would add 128,000). Plenty of people include Round Rock in Austins numbers.
- armenarmen 6y agoI was referring to the article (though I didn't make that clear). > Austin is the third-largest city in the United States and the third largest state capital. which is clearly wrong
- koolk3ychain 6y agoThe summers are now reaching 106F and above with 80% humidity. PLEASE stay in California, we don't want you here. Austin is also horrendously not diverse and essentially still segregated.
