These days, more and more I find that the sensible option is unfashionable. Fashion seems to disregard the practical and applaud foolishness. I'm not talking haute couture, mind - but everyday people. Didn't get a new car? Weird. Still wearing your old shoes? Weird. I seriously expect this trend to continue, Idiocracy-style, until utterly stupid is fashionable, like back in high school. Diesel has made a strong start.
