I’ve been eagerly watching the Tesla FSD beta videos and disagree with the author’s assessment. Yes there are some rough edges, but it handles typical driving scenarios very well for the most part. Given that this is an initial, barely-functional release, I look forward to what 2021 brings in improvements to the algorithms.
