Actual butterflies? I know it is off topic, but please explain this comment a little. I'm fascinated as to why anyone would trade butterflies, nice as they are

  Butterfly spreads. A 4-part derivates trade. I would say it is purely entertainment because as a saying goes, "if your options trading strategy involves the name of animals, just walk away"

    I'm a little disappointed that it wasn't actual butterflies, but this makes considerably more sense. Thanks for explaining.
