This is exactly my point. That Uber legislation, for example, OF COURSE it's going to eviscerate exploitative business models, as that is exactly what it was designed to do. That privacy legislation means that I get a bit more control over my data than I had before. I'm all for making life harder for businesspeople that fail or don't want to take into account the human consequences and second/third-order effects of their "innovative thinking" and market "disruption"
