I think they meant: - Candidates can decide they are not interested in the position anymore and ghost the recruiter/employer without warning Similarly, - Employers can ghost candidates and recruiters - Recruiters can ghost candidates and employers It's a ghosting triangle. Candidates probably get ghosted the most, but certainly recruiters and employers are ghosted as well.
