Huh, they don’t have an “off” more for noise cancellation? I read a review of the airpods max and they have three settings: on, transparency, off. The last one has to be enabled in settings. I am assuming this is a fairly common feature for headphones? If so you might be able to switch models to one that has an off mode, if yours don’t.
