Washington’s Secret to the Perfect Zoom Bookshelf? Buy It Wholesale
- ThrowawayR2 6y agoGuess there really is a service for everything. One would have thought though, that highly educated politicians and officials would intrinsically be well-read and have their own book collections already.
- secfirstmd 6y agoOn a converse side of things. I actually delibrately removed a load of books from my bookshelves that can be seen on Zoom etc (if I'm not using a background or blurring etc). Working in NGO security I prefer that people don't always know easily all the qualifications I have. Similarly I love what I do but studied and read widely about stuff like terrorism, counter-terrorism, intelligence. "Blood and Rage" for example is a very interesting book but prefer people not spend half a call distracted by what's on my shelf!
- rasz 6y agoWhy bother with real books in the first place? just print the spines.
- riverdweller 6y agoCustomers surely relish the irony of the misspelled sign on the large box of religious books.
