Search engine startups try to take on Google
- barbacoa 6y agoWould be healthy for the internet to see competition in search engines. The golden age of Google has come and gone. long gone are the days when google was the index of the internet, it's now more akin to yellow pages. Google is systematically biased toward large internet companies which is a leading factor in the industry trend of corporate consolidation. Google has way too much control over the flow of information and are showing increased willingness to use their power to influence public opinion. People are starting to wake up to the spectre of living behind the silicon curtain.
