This is interesting, the article suggest the vaccine at a half dose might be 90% effective for people below the age of 55. And might be more effective then previously thought for people above the age of 55 using half dose as well. Good news this means more vaccine is available to the public
- pkaye 6y agoI think the US trial is testing both the half and full dose approaches to confirm these results.
- m12k 6y agoDo you have a source? My googling only found references to a full-dose US trial, and speculation that an additional half-dose trial would have to be paid by AZ themselves with no govt funding.
- pkaye 6y agoI think you maybe right. I had read this a while back so maybe it didn't end up getting implmeented.
