Once when I was setting up my mom's iPhone I couldn't get the app store working because whenever I tried to download something the app store went white. Trial and error told me that some apple id page was supposed to come up, but wasn't. Just a blank screen. Tried a couple hours later, it was fine. Meaning their server went down and they didn't even bother to code up an error page. Super lazy.
