Thats's definitely not what I'm saying. I'm saying I was badly punished because a particular person misperceived me as being angry. I think this line that anger is an acceptable emotion for men to express is out of line with reality; it's certainly out of line with my lived experience. Anger expressed by men is punished, sometimes exorbitantly.
