Just saw Ueli from the article. Looks really interesting but it seems to be built in Electron. What's its footprint like? I'm currently very happy using the nice lightweight Launchy but it hasn't been updated in a long time. Still works great but requires a bit of tinkering to get it going in Win10, last time I tried.
- kekebo 6y agoPerformance wise it's fine for me but it does have some rough edges like: - Moves across the screen for a while when using custom scaling - Doesn't sort by most used result hits (always shows same order) - Hangs for me when I click on results instead of navigating by keyboard - Doesn't have an option to kill apps like Wox But apart from these it does a lot of things quite well.
- trog 6y agoMostly interested in how much RAM it uses - Launchy using < 9MB for me indexing all my applications + some of my docs. I feel like anything built on Electron is going to be 1GB at least?!
