I have triple 32" monitors and I don't use them to multitask, per se ... I use them to display multiple contexts and inputs for single tasks. It is not uncommon for me to be working on a single task that involves a (long) terminal window, a browser window and a second browser window. Sometimes one of the screens is completely blank/empty and I much prefer that to the lack of a screen at all.
