iPhone definitely did. It was months between the announcement and an actual premiere, and people were very hyped. Apple’s M1 and iPad as well. Arguably, SpaceX and Tesla. Also arguably, Facebook. I remember thinking it was overhyped at it’s initial IPO valuation. Oh, and of course Internet - it was massively hyped up 1996-1999.
