Related: I learned recently that Lerna is intended specifically for publishing packages within a monorepo, and is entirely unnecessary if not publishing individual packages. Yarn workspaces is all you need to manage dependencies between packages. Not sure where this common misconception came from, but I definitely fell for it when starting out with monorepos.
