I'm struggling to figure out how anyone would associate this with an obsession with Alexander the Great, as opposed to a really blindingly obvious reference to The Great Library, especially given how Amazon was originally a book company.
- wryoak 6y agoThe city was founded by Alexander the Great, but the quote does seem to be forcing the connection at the library's expense.
- rualca 6y agoIf I recall correctly, project Alexandria had also the (aspirational)goal of making available every book ever published. You know, like the great library of Alexandria.
