Having done a large chunk of this myself, I feel like I have to ask about this one:

I've never even heard of people doing this. How does it work? What's it like? It sounds fascinating, and like something I should've tried in my 20s.
- k__ 6y agoYou can rent a whole flat, which most people do. This is expensive. You can also rent a room in a shared flat, which is cheaper. From the money you save, you can rent another room in another flat. Some of my friends even let their rooms to other people while they were out of city to save money.
