The irony of this sort of stuff is that I've gone back to a number of services over the years where I cancelled and deleted my account but never to a service that made it hard to leave.

- crooked-v 6y agoNetflix has definitely gotten money out of me by making it very easy to cancel/resubscribe/cancel/resubscribe that they wouldn't have gotten if canceling had been a pain the first time.

- hawkice 6y agoI routinely cancel Netflix and come back to it when I want. Sometimes I come back and immediately cancel (this is so easy that I haven't bothered looking if there's a way to do non-recurrent billing). I just don't use it that much and I probably wouldn't ever use it if it was just going to add to a pile of un- or under-used subscriptions on my credit card statement.
