Why Miami will become a global tech hub
- paulryanrogers 6y agoReal estate investor talks up region in which they are heavily invested. And I'm missing any significant learnings here?
- _jayhack_ 6y ago"A real estate agent from Miami talks about himself and his opulent success for several tweets"
- axaxs 6y agoMiami metro is already a bit of a tech hub. It's not as prominent as say, the valley, but it exists. Lots of startups, localized tech, more than a few big names have offices there. It's not heavily advertised as such, but if you spend time there or research it, you'll see it. I say metro also including Ft Lauderdale and whatnot.
- nerdwaller 6y agoIt doesn’t seem like it, all the pieces of the story I’m interested in are _yada yada_, basically the bits between immigrating in the 80s and being able to buy up various real estate, that seems to be a missing piece of this individual’s grind I want to know more about.

- pii 6y agoBefore it gets flooded?
- mrgordon 6y agoAs a tech worker who lives in Miami and works remotely, Miami’s tech scene is a joke. I live right near Mana and the other posters are right to say he’s just patting himself on the back here
- Dracophoenix 6y agoNo to put too fine a point on it, but why is it that you're in Miami yourself?
- mrgordon 6y agoBecause I needed to relocate near family and I can work remotely anyway With COVID it ended up that I got stuck here
- Throwaway1771 6y agoTechies generally like kush, not powders...swing again.
