One of my favorite non-fiction books, was great to visit the computer museum in Mountain View and see the recreation of the analytical machine mentioned in the book.

- filterfish 6y agoI saw him at a book reading in Sydney for The Information, he was fantastic. He did a straw poll about who had heard of Claude Shannon, out of about 200 people four of us put our hands up. I still find it sad that so few people have heard of him.
- Slaren 6y agoI would say to myself that you must choose carefully and knowingly when it comes to books so that you do not read just anything. Classics like Romeo and Juliet are worth learning, of course. It is also curious because there are the same gender roles. I think it should be useful for those who love this work, which has actually become a cultivation and is still focused on its gender characteristics today.
