Russia is a minor threat, and is becoming less powerful by the day. When Putin leaves (thanks, Parkinsons), there might be some internal turmoil, but that probably won't lead them to invade Sweden. The major threat is the mass migration from ME and Africa that will overwhelm Europe. One of the big reasons to put together a competent military and logistics operation is to help neighboring countries become more stable. Without stability and peace economic growth is tenuous.
