The Milky Way is probably full of dead civilizations
- throw0101a 6y agoA pretty good sci-fi novel on trying to continue on as a civilization: > The book's plot involves a planet inhabited by evolved spiders uplifted by human scientist Avrana Kern, and their much later discovery by the last humans alive in the universe.[6][7][8] The work plays off the contrast between the societal development of the spiders and the barbaric descent of the starship crew of the last humans.[9] * https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Children_of_Time_(novel) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Children_of_Time_(novel)
