Would you buy a webcam with 1080p only (I promise it's good though!) for $250-$300?

- ComodoHacker 6y agoWith all features described, yes, I would. And please, can I add another one for $50? I can easily connect it to my decent-hardware-but-shitty-camera midrange smartphone and use instead of built-in camera.
- murkt 6y agoWell, Android site says that it supports UVC cameras over USB, so presumably you get this feature for free!
- Guest19023892 6y agoAssuming it's good, why not? Even 720p video from a DSLR will look far better than 4K video from a Logitech Brio. Resolution is almost meaningless when doing video calls. Most people are in environments with poor lighting, so they need bigger sensors and improved lighting long before 4K or even 1080p resolutions.
